Kevorken Makes His Way to France

After spending his first four seasons in the German Bundesliga, Scott Kevorken will be on his way to France to play for Tours VB. This is the third middle blocker from UC Irvine to play for Tours this decade with Dave Smith competing for them from the 2011-12 season to 2016. During that time he helped them win 4 of the club's 7 French Ligue A championships. Dan McDonnel was also a part of the team which won the title in 2015. In addition to winning the French Ligue A, Tours have also won the French Cup 9 times, the CEV Cup in 2017, and were the winners of the 2005 CEV Champions League. This past season they claimed the French Ligue A crown back from Chaumont 52. Kevorkian is coming off what could be considered a disappointing season. After helping SVG Luneburg break club records with 4th place finishes in the Bundesliga and an appearance in the finals of the German Cup, he was signed by VfB Friedrichshafen.
